About The Studio.
The Grove was built from the ground up to
be on a quality level with any professional studio in the world. The
studio was designed by the talented and much sought after Michael
Cronin, who also designed one of Nashville’s top studios, Blackbird
Studio.
Attention to detail has really gone into the design of the studio with
everything from the tuned rooms to the monitoring, cue systems, cabling,
and patch bays.
In describing our studio, we would consider it to be a hybrid studio of
sorts, in that we utilize the best in classic analog gear, while
staying current with all the new digital technologies.
Be sure to check out our gear & equipment. We offer over forty channels of out-board pre-amps to achieve just
about any kind of sonic color (or lack of) for our projects. All the
top classic brands are represented, including trusted brands like Neve,
API, Martech, and Universal Audio, to mention a few.
Our control room is optimized for mixing and features Dynaudio Acoustics
M4 chord system main monitors (“Bigs”) as well as Mackie HR 824’s and
other near fields. In addition to our control room, the studio offers a
large “live” room, a piano booth with a 7 foot Kawai grand, and three other various
sized vocal/iso booths.
Apart from the studio and all the gear, at the end of the day, we
understand it’s our talented, passionate, and creative team that really
makes the recording process an enjoyable and fruitful experience for
our clients.
We are really excited about the team that we have here at The Grove. We know that by utilizing all of the diverse and unique
giftings of the team, we will be able to contribute to the greater “sum”
of our artists' projects and ministries.
