We. Love. Music.
We're a church in a city that not only has a heavy influence on music, but actually birthed rock n' roll. It's only fitting that we have some of the most talented musicians in Memphis as members of our Praise and Worship Team. But if you've ever been to a Hope worship service you already knew that. Not only do we "bring it" on stage every weekend, Hope is also blessed to have a full recording studio, to be concert venue for such artists as Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, Brandon Heath, Skillet and to offer place to learn to play–the Hope Music Academy!
Under the leadership of Worship Director Daniel Oppenhuizen, the Sanctuary comes alive each weekend with a mix of contemporary praise music and traditional worship music provided by some of the finest musicians in Memphis. Hope’s choir is directed by gospel artist and featured soloist, Jennifer Ransom. For more info, including how to join Hope’s worship team (band, choir, or front line singers), contact Jennifer.
If you'd like to be a part of Hope's Choir email Jennifer!

What if the greatest music in the world was birthed out of the Church like it once was? What if the world looked to the Church instead of the other way around? What if Christian music was simply defined as music made by Christians? This is the passion and vision of the Hope Music Academy, which seeks to serve kids, ministries, worship teams, and recording artists as they seek to impact the world through music and the Gospel of Christ. Affordable music lessons are available in our state-of-the-art studio. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons in voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, strings, horns, woodwinds, and home & studio recording.
