Whatever you want to call it, our culture has experienced some dramatic transformations in recent times, and the Church has lagged behind.
Maybe that's why the coming generations no longer trust the Church to answer life's most significant questions.
The Stirring is a worship experiences that seeks to recapture the greatest aspect of the Church - its willingness to interact with culture, dwell in it, and understand it, earning the right to speak to it and influence it (where needed).
That's
why the music you'll hear inside sounds a lot like the music you
listened to in your car on the way over. That's why the lights and the
video might remind you of a concert you recently attended. That's why
we use artistry and imagery as well as words to convey meaning. It's a
place where you can hear the message of God in familiar language. It's
a place where our passions, our concerns, our visions and our desires
find their fulfillment. A place where we discover what we were made to
do.
We are wandering souls seeking God's direction for our lives,
because we believe that God is leading and guiding us. We're
a community that accepts each other, and challenges each other, because
we know God accepts us as we are, and yet calls us to something better.
We're a group of people who are concerned about our neighborhoods, our
city, and our world, because we know God is concerned about them.

Stirring Kids
A chance for kids newborn through 4th grade to learn about God and Community in their own special setting while their parents worship. The Stirring kids get a chance to experience special events that tie into music and art just like we have every week in the Stirring .
