The Urban Plunge
The Urban Plunge is back March 1-4, 2012. If you've never been on the Plunge here's your chance to experience life in inner-city Memphis. Cost is $100 for Hope members and $175 for non-Hope members. The cost includes transportation, meals, snacks, room accommodations and t-shirt. The Plunge begins when we leave Hope's parking lot Thursday, March 1 at 6 pm. We'll visit the National Civil Rights Museum, Underground Railroad stop "Slave Haven," attend a panel discussion on racial reconciliation, visit various neighborhood ministries, help with a work project in North Memphis, dinner at the Home of Eli and Patty Morris and more! The Plunge will conclude Sunday, March 4 with worship at First Baptist Broad before heading back to Hope. Don't miss this life-changing opportunity! Registration for the Plunge will begin in late summer, so check back often.
