Weekday preschool Substitute Teacher

The substitute's primary goal at Hope Preschool is to demonstrate your love for God and people as well as provide a safe and nurturing environment. We believe in the power of learning through play, allowing children to use their imagination while developing physically, cognitively, emotionally, and spiritually.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Subs will work cooperatively with all staff fostering team spirit
  • Adhere to each classroom’s daily schedule
  • Provide a safe learning environment
    • Two adults remain with children at all times
    • Keep class roll and count your children often and during every transition
  • Actively interact with the children individually and in a group setting. Model the Christian faith by using prayers, Bible stories, songs, and conversations
  • Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Must be able to pass Tn Background Check

Other duties and resPonsibilities

  • Adhere to Cell Phone Policy, Client Confidentiality Policy, and Social Media Policy
  • Clean classroom and sanitize all tables and surfaces before leaving

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma

Skills & Experience

  • Working with children is a plus but not required
