H4K Engagement Coordinator

Come along side an engaging, energetic, and high quality Hope 4 Kids (H4K) team and serve the ministry to engage families in order to better connect them to Hope Church. This includes aiding in the ministry to host events, training and developing H4K Welcome Teams, making sure volunteers and families are resourced, as well as daily office needs.This is a non-exempt, hourly, full-time position (40 hours per week).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee Stirring/ 2 other services each weekend, focusing on evaluating and directing the effectiveness of the Check-in Procedure and Check-in Team
  • Coordinate the best practices of engaging families from first visits to connected to Hope Church.
  • Assist the Assistant Director in managing the Hope for Kids volunteer process from application to connected and cared for
  • Oversee the use and training of the Arena database system
  • Maintain and utilize attendance records for all Hope for Kids ministries
  • Manage and utilize Hope for Kids social media platform and presence
  • Coordinate H4K ministry internal and external communications (Emails, Letters, postcards, informational tables and desks, phone calls, etc..)
  • Regularly participate in pertinent staff meetings
  • Physical ability to be on your feet for long periods of time, and tend to child care needs

Other duties and resPonsibilities

  • Aid and complete additional tasks as assigned by H4K Director and Assistant Director
  • Play a key role in planning and preparation of Hope 4 Kids special events
  • Assist H4K Staff Coordinators in their initiatives and ministerial engagement needs
  • Help with any church-wide activities, programs, and services
  • Champion the mission, vision, and values of the H4K ministry and Hope Church

  • Organizational skills
  • Strong planning and implementation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Data entry
  • Computer literate and solid user of Mac/PC software including but not limited to MS Office


Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree Preferred



  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Positive and encouraging team player attitude
