Dr. Gipson, a local neurologist/neurodevelopmental disabilities specialist, created and will lead this four-week course. Participants will learn how a diagnosis of autism or other special needs is made; potential reasons why an individual may have special needs and importantly, options for treatment. This course is ideal for parents of newly diagnosed individuals and/or parents of an individual with a concern for special needs where there has been no evaluation or diagnosis.
