I was born and raised Catholic in Chicago, IL. Prior to coming to Hope I had not been in a church for 40 years. I have two adult daughters. My wife of 51 years had a couple of strokes in 2009. She was an invalid after that and I cared for her at home for the next five years. I moved her to a nursing home in early 2015, and she passed away in October of that year.
Hope came into my life at a time I really needed hope. It has been a great experience. The Hope family welcomed me as one of their own. Coming to Hope and rebuilding my faith have been two of the best decisions I’ve made in years.
Labor Day weekend I will become a member of Hope. I am still growing in my faith but I truly consider myself a follower.
