Hope For The Holidays

hope for the holidays…

is Hope’s annual giving campaign where YOU have the opportunity to partner with us in making a great impact in the lives of those in our community and beyond. Thank you for being a generous church that believes “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) and for always helping us share Hope, everywhere!

Your monetary donations, above and beyond your regular giving, will be divided between our Thanksgiving Food Drive, Tree of Hope, Oasis of Hope Toy Store, Hope City Church and Global’s Alternative Gifts. Let us encourage you to intentionally pray with your family, small group or community to find the BEST option to give this holiday season. You can give by clicking the “GIVE NOW” buttons on this page or by mailing a check with “Hope for the Holidays” in the memo line to the church office at 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38018.

Give thanks! give love!

Thanksgiving Food Drive • November 7-22, 2020

Give thanks, give love during this Thanksgiving season by contributing to our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! For everyone’s health and safety, we are asking for MONETARY DONATIONS ONLY this year. Your generous contributions will be used to purchase frozen turkeys and all the good fixings for the families in our Hope City Church and Oasis of Hope communities to enjoy a great Thanksgiving meal.

Thank you for giving during this season, when the need is even greater than usual! Please continue to pray for the North Memphis community and our presence there through Hope City Church and Oasis of Hope. For more information and questions, please contact Laura Huggins (Laura.Huggins@HopeChurchMemphis.com).

For more than two decades, Hope Urban Ministry has helped provide an enjoyable and extra special Christmas for hundreds of under-resourced families across Memphis. Please join us during this giving season and sponsor a family from our Tree of Hope.

This year we’ve modified our process for everyone’s health and safety. Please CLICK HERE to complete the quick sponsorship form. According to your preferences, a family will be selected for you along with their Christmas wish lists. Instead of home deliveries, gifts will be delivered to a designated location where our Tree of Hope recipients may pick them up before Christmas Day. Although the Tree of Hope looks and feels unconventional this year, you will still be able to speak with your adopted family and engage with them and get to know them this season.

Thank you for giving during this season, when the need is even greater than usual! Please pray for each of our Tree of Hope families during this holiday season, that they may be blessed now and beyond. For more information and questions, please contact Laura Huggins (Laura.Huggins@HopeChurchMemphis.com).

Hope City church

It is in the name that is above every name that I greet you my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We thank God for His everlasting love and faithfulness towards us. In this season of Thanksgiving and Joy, I am excited about the grace and goodness of God.

I wish to thank you for your generous contributions to Hope City Church! Ever since Hope Church had the vision to plant an inner-city church in North Memphis four years ago, we have been diligent, doing God’s work and we eagerly look forward to what God will do next.

As pastor of Hope City Church, I ask that you continue to keep my family and me in your prayers and that you will pray that God will grant us the wisdom and grace to continue to reach the unchurched as He sustains us numerically, financially and spiritually.

GIVE now

global Alternative Gifts

Alternative Christmas Gifts from Hope Global Outreach provides you the opportunity to support our global partners and the communities they serve. The global impact of COVID-19 has triggered an unprecedented crisis and our partners around the globe are feeling significant pressure on already overburdened resources. Ongoing lockdowns, shutdown of public transportation, loss of jobs and other effects only exacerbate the vulnerabilities of our beloved families. Your donation is going toward the emergency relief of food, water, sanitation and other items our partners need. Thank you greatly for your contribution.

Oasis Toy Store

Oasis of Hope and Hope City Church invite you to join them as they prepare for their annual Christmas Toy Store. Through your generous monetary and toy donations, our Toy Store empowers parents to provide new toys for their children at an affordable cost. For extra convenience this year, view our Amazon Gift List and order from the suggested list of toys which will be delivered right to our door. If prompted, simply click the "shop charity lists" button to be taken right to the wish list. For more information, questions and volunteer opportunities, please contact mellissaorr1071@gmail.com.
