Hope For The Holidays

share hope this holiday season!

Hope for the Holidays is Hope’s annual giving campaign where YOU have the opportunity to partner with us in making a great impact in the lives of those in our community and beyond. Thank you for being a generous church that believes “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) We encourage you to intentionally pray with your family, small group or community to find the BEST option to give this holiday season.

There are multiple ways for you to share your generosity this Holiday season. You can give online, by check or cash using the special offering envelopes in the back of the auditorium, or mail a check with "Hope for the Holidays" in the memo line to: Hope Church – 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38018.

THANK YOU for being a generous church during the most wonderful time of year!

For more than two decades, Hope's Local Outreach Ministry (formarlly known as our Urban Ministry) has helped provide an enjoyable and extra special Christmas for hundreds of under-resourced families across Memphis. Please join us during this giving season and sponsor a family from our Tree of Hope.

Your generosity and family sponsorship makes a true difference and share's God's love with those less fortunate during the most wonderful time of the year. Please pray for each of our Tree of Hope families during this holiday season, that they may be blessed now and beyond. Hope City church

It is in the name that is above every name that I greet you my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We thank God for His everlasting love and faithfulness towards us. In this season of Thanksgiving and Joy, I am excited about the grace and goodness of God. I wish to thank you for your generous contributions to Hope City Church! Ever since Hope Church had the vision to plant an inner-city church in North Memphis four years ago, we have been diligent, doing God’s work and we eagerly look forward to what God will do next.

As pastor of Hope City Church, I ask that you continue to keep my family, me and Hope City in your prayers, and that you will pray that God will grant us the wisdom and grace to continue to reach the unchurched as He sustains us numerically, financially and spiritually.

global Alternative Gifts

Tired of buying gifts that collect dust in a closet? Give the gift of HOPE through a Global Alternative Gift. When you faithfully give to Hope for the Holidays, you can give an Alternative Gift card to a friend or family member letting them know you made a special donation in their honor. Alternative Gifts empower and support a direct need for our Global Outreach partners and the communities they serve.

This year, your giving will provide Hope beyond borders to impoverished Ecuadorians seeking financial independence through the micro-financing program of Pan de Vida, help resettle Afghan evacuees, forced from their home, that arriving in Memphis and a pastor training program in Bidi Bidi, Uganda.

bickford community center

What a blessing it is to carry everything to God in prayer—and He’s certainly answered our prayers with the acquisition of the Bickford Community Center for our Oasis of Hope ministry. We are so excited and grateful for this space and to watch God use this space, our staff and volunteers to continue to build His kingdom. So often, God calls us somewhere to roll up our sleeves and this opportunity is no different—we are blessed with the center, however, it needs a lot of work, including: Painting, Cleaning, Reorganization, Electrical work, Landscaping, Decorating/furnishing, and minor construction.

In addition to the renovation costs – we need significant help with the day-to-day ministry operations of the center! Please prayerfully consider serving with one of our many programs and faithfully giving to help continue to make this dream a reality. This mountainous opportunity will need your help to truly impact those we seek to serve. More information coming soon!
