HISTORY OF HOPE Local OUTREACH
For more than 25 years, the Local Ministry of Hope Church has offered life-changing experiences through the Urban Plunge and Justice Tour of the Civil Rights Movement. These events have been instrumental in getting individuals engaged by serving others through discipleship and giving. The Local Outreach Ministry serves over 1,000 families annually through Thanksgiving Food Drives, Back-to-School Drive, and sponsoring families during Christmas with the Tree of Hope.
WHAT WE DO
Our ministry has been avid about serving hundreds of children annually in the under-resourced areas of Memphis with Resurrection activities and hosting Vacation Bible School sessions during the summer at various churches in South Memphis, Frayser, and other areas of the city. Quilters
Hope Quilters have a long-running ministry of blessing moms and babies in Memphis area hospitals. Quilters provide quilts for preemies, moms who have experienced difficult births, and others in need. If you're interested in quilting and would like to be a blessing, we'd love for you to connect with us! All are welcome, no matter your skill level.
