This Week

This week 04-28-15 Lay-z-boy-BBQ I had to go to the court house to fix a speeding ticket a few years ago. It was a good kind of speeding ticket. I told the officer I was late for a meeting (which I was) and that I was sorry. He said "OK, instead of writing you up for going 150 in a 35, I'll put you down for 42 in a 35 and you can go to court and pay court costs and plead guilty and it will be like it never happened." This Week

This week 04-21-15 Save the best for last. If you read my stories you know I don't go anywhere without going out to eat at least once. I usually have reservations before I leave Memphis and I absolutely know where I'm going. There's a little place in Austin called "Wink". This Week

This week 04-14-15 Sports Center Church Several weeks ago I was thinking about the daylight saving time switchover and how people were going to be late to church.. if you were coming at 9:30am but forgot to change your clock then you would get here at 10:30am which meant you missed the 9:30 service and had 45 minutes to wait for the 11:15am service.  So I was wondering what to do so people wouldn't be late. This Week

This week 04-07-15 Arm and arm I had to go to Austin Tx with my sister several years ago. Kind of a last minute thing. We checked to see what it would cost to fly out of Memphis. $1500 each round trip.. Yikes!!!!! That's $100 and hour each to drive.. I'm expensive, but not that expensive.
