What is that smell? I was sitting in the sanctuary one Saturday afternoon listening to the band practice and I started smelling something. I can smell things that nobody else can smell, a blessing and a curse. I couldn't figure out what it was, it just smelled bad. I checked my shoes and myself but nothing smelled like that. They are in here somewhere? In 1975 - 77 I had a Young Life club at Kingsbury High School. (Young life is a Christian outreach to high school kids.) I had at least half the school coming to my club and I knew a bunch of kids, several hundred… We called them kids but the truth is that I was 20 and they were 16 - 17 - 18… not like I was old enough to be their daddy or anything. One big ravioli If you read my stories, you'll know that I'm a big cook. Any time I get 2 days off in a row I usually go to the store and do prep the 1st day and then cook a 3 or 4 course meal the 2nd. I was doing food from one of my favorite restaurants "Terra" in St Helena California. The food is pretty complex and requires a bunch of steps, which is the way I like it.
