Freedom It's hard to describe something that mostly goes on the mind of a child with special needs. We used to have a dance group at Hope made up of all children with special needs. At their dance Recital, amazing things happened. A group of 15 kids along with 21 High School kids practiced every week for this show. Underwear and Boots For almost 20 years we had never had a problem with freezing pipes in our house. In the few places where pipes are exposed, I've got those wires that you plug in and wrap around pipes that keep them warmish. And the most important thing we do is always remember to leave water dripping if it's going to be below freezing. We remembered that until one week when it was 14 degrees. A little Entertainment Several years ago every Sunday morning at 6am we would put out cones and get the trams ready. There were 7 of us, "Early ConeHeads". It takes about an hour or so and it's a great time to talk and visit. It's quiet and dark and peaceful. The Perfect Football Tree When I was a kid my mom decided that she wanted a live Christmas tree. Not live vs fake, but really alive, roots and all. She wanted to actually plant it after Christmas.
