This position will support the Communications and Marketing department and ministries at Hope Church to achieve optimal communication efforts through all platforms. This is a non-exempt, hourly position (40 hrs/week).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include planning, implementing and monitoring Hope’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts, increase interest in attending weekend services and ministry offerings and events. 

  • Copywriting support for creative projects that support social and print
  • Graphic design and layout ability for print, web and social media and back-up support for internal ministry
  • Responsibility for assisting ministries with their social media to continue to drive fresh material consistently and special promotion for events and special programs
  • Ensuring efforts and programs used to make these efforts successful are effective and up to date (email campaign programs and technologies)
  • Support social media strategies for ministries through graphic design, video and copywriting
  • Track and report KPIs and report on those on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with ministry teams
  • Coordinate print production and management of print shop equipment for Hope and ministry support
  • Weekend preparation for worship services
  • Easily take and provide constructive feedback

  • Short promo Video production and editing for social media publishing
  • Print and production for ministry and weekend support
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Graphic design program experience (Indesign and Photoshop required)
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Photographic skills

Education Requirements

  • College degree with graphic design background


  • Applicant should work well in a team environment, flexible
  • Strong organization and time management skills to ensure scheduled deadlines are met
  • Strong executing skills
  • Comfortable in a culturally diverse environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Weekend work, up to two weekends per month.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
