We're a church in a city that not only has a heavy influence on music, but actually birthed rock n' roll. It's only fitting that we have some of the most talented musicians in Memphis as members of our Praise and Worship Team. But if you've ever been to a Hope worship service you already knew that. If you'd like to check us out, you can watch some selected performances here.
Not only do we "bring it" on stage every weekend, but Hope is also blessed to have a full recording studio, and to be a concert venue for such artists as Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, Brandon Heath and Skillet. All this, while also offering a place to learn to play–The Grove Music Ministry!
The Sanctuary comes alive each weekend with a mix of contemporary praise music and traditional worship music under the leadership of Worship Director Daniel Oppenhuizen. Under the direction of gospel artist Marquee Walker, the Hope Choir makes each service a celebration! For more info, including how to join Hope’s worship team (band or front line singers), email Donna Hauth.
Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
This verse is foundational for the Hope Church Choir, and we'd love for YOU to come share the experience of LOVE, FAMILY and most of all, SINGING with grace in your hearts to the LORD! Email Choir Director Marque Walker to get info on how to join the "Choir Family!"
We are EXCITED to announce that we have rebranded! Hope Concerts and The Grove Recording Studio are all now under the name The Grove Music Ministry. Same professional service with state-of-the-art equipment. Check out what we have going on!
