Fall Semester Group Study:

Elijah, by Priscilla Shirer

Offered Monday evening and Wednesday morning.  In person groups only will have video teaching and small group discussion.

Do you long for the kind of boldness and faith that can stand firm, no matter what life throws at you? As you journey through this study of Elijah, you will learn that the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now. In her teaching, Priscilla Shirer will help you understand the value of seasons of growth and testing in your spiritual maturity. You will be encouraged to wait on God’s good work in your heart and mind as you learn to trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God and His purposes for your life. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness emerge with their holy loyalty cemented, their courage emblazoned, and their confident belief in Him set afire.

Hidden Potential, by Wendy Pope

Offered Monday evening and Wednesday morning in person only with small group discussion.

Do you allow the echo of fears and frailties to silence God’s voice? Hidden Potential is a beautiful reminder that God never counts anyone out as long as she counts herself as His child. In this study, Wendy Pope will bring you to a deeper understanding that God’s plan isn’t to fix the things that have fractured your faith but instead to show His power through them, making your faith even stronger. God wants to take that which has wrongly defined and misdirected you and use it to demonstrate how He can transform weakness to power, regret to purpose, and anxiety to peace.

The Pursuit of Holiness, by Jerry Bridges

Offered Monday evening in-person only, with small group discussion and live teaching by Betty Ann Milligan.

God has called every Christian to a holy life. But holiness is something that is often missed in daily life.  That’s because we are not exactly sure what our part in holiness is. In The Pursuit of Holiness, Jerry Bridges (author of Trusting God) helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do – and where we need to accept responsibility.  In this study we will dig into the Gospel, deepen our relationship with God, and learn more about His character. As a result we will understand the Holy Spirit’s role in holiness, and will learn to joyfully embrace God’s call to holiness.
