Rachel & Leah

A guided biblical study with small group discussion

How many times have you felt like you couldn’t measure up no matter how hard you tried? Do you measure your “success” in comparison to what you see in others? These questions arise from a struggle with comparison that many women constantly combat. But we can take our struggles through the Scriptures and uncover a way to become someone we could never be on our own. Nicki Koziarz unpacks the story of two sisters, Rachel & Leah and their rival relationship. Through this study you will be able to pinpoint your own comparison battles and learn how to combat them with the truth of God’s Word. When we get mired in comparing ourselves to others we can miss out on the special, unique and incredible plans God has for our lives.

Identity Theft

Each session will include biblical teaching by Betty Ann Milligan followed by small group discussion.

Who am I?  It’s a question we all ask ourselves at some point.  We may focus our identity on our job performance, marital status, personality type, or social network, among other options.  However, there’s a larger question to consider.  Who does the Bible tell me I am in Christ?  From the wisdom and perspective of insightful authors – including Jen Wilkin, Hannah Anderson, Trillia Newbell and Jen Pollock Michel – we’ll seek to answer this question. Through this study we can replace our false notions of identity with a deeper understanding of the biblical truth of our identity in Christ. Come to know what it looks like to live in our new (and true) identity.  Join us as we explore how knowing who we are in Christ changes every aspect of our lives.

Unshakable Hope

Small group discussion focused on practical wisdom for everyday life.  Offered Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings.

What is shaking in your world?  Are you overwhelmed by the problems you’re facing or the pain you’re feeling? Maybe you feel hurt by the past. Disappointed by the present. Worried about the future. If so, you are not alone, but there is hope. You can live with security and purpose.  What if we filtered our lives and our challenges through the promises of God? In Unshakable Hope, Max Lucado unpacks a dozen of the Bible’s most significant promises, equipping you to overcome difficult circumstances by keeping your focus on the hope found in the promises of Scripture.  For every problem in life, God has given you a promise.  And since his Word is unbreakable, our hope is unshakable.
