Seamless by Angie Smith
Offered Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings. Each session will include small group discussion, brief video teaching and a live teaching by Betty Ann Milligan as she digs deeper into the word.
In Seamless, Angie Smith tells God’s story…His whole story. Through the study, Seamless, you will have an opportunity to get a good, solid overview of the whole Bible and how it all fits together. Sometimes we forget, or perhaps we’ve never heard or understood, that the Bible is really only one story. It’s not 66 different stories; it’s just one. And it’s all interdependent and it all fits together in such a marvelous and miraculous way that it could only have been done by our sovereign God. Angie Smith is a gifted writer who weaves this story together in a way that ties together all the characters and all the events so that you can connect with the people, the places and the promises of God’s Word in a fresh way. Each week’s session includes small group time, a brief video teaching, and a live teaching by Betty Ann Milligan that will dive deeper into one select passage of Scripture. As you gain understanding of the Bible as one seamless story, you will come to know that you can trust God in your own story. If you want to start, or deepen, your faith journey, this study is for you. Order book here
Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado
Offered Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings with small group discussion
Is irrational worry your constant companion? Could you use some calm? Anxiety is at an all time high, but there’s a prescription for dealing with it. In this study Max Lucado invites readers into a deeper understanding of Philippians 4:6-7 where the Apostle Paul admonishes the followers of Christ, “Do not be anxious about anything…” Lucado says, “The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional.” This study guides readers through this Scripture passage and explains the key concepts of celebration, asking for help, leaving our concerns, and meditating. Join us on the journey to true freedom and experience more joy, clarity, physical renewal, and contentment by the power of the Holy Spirit. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Order book here
